Japanese Oak Stool

A classic high quality Japanese design but with an English Oak twist. Using only British grown timbers, I present to you this elegant and practical piece of furniture. Perfect for tucking under a dining table, as a seat around the house, or even as a side table.

The technique used to wedge the legs into the seat is a traditional technique by hand, done the same way it has been for centuries. It creates a very sturdy joint without any screws or fixings. Combined with high quality and beautiful quarter sawn English Oak, this stool is something that will be in your family for generations.

The dimensions are 42cm long, by 33cm wide, by 45cm height. For a slight additional cost I can make the stool to any height you require. I also offer it as a two seater version which is 90cm long. I will be in touch to discuss any custom sizing
